BRIM® (Business Rules Information Manager)

The Business Rules Information Manager (BRIM®) is the only complete business rules based systems development environment in the world.  It can be used to support the system requirements of virtually any business system.

Rules are placed in the BRIM® repository and the entire system is generated. The repository supports both structural and process rules so virtually all of a system’s rules can be captured. Structural rules are built using the UML class diagrams and fully support all object-oriented features such as inheritance and composition.  In addition, BRIM® explicitly supports temporal data, and complex domains.

Process rules are gathered using a user friendly, graphical tool, that allows users to enter and modify their own business processes with little programmer support.

Object data is stored in both a generic structure and in a traditional database enabling the development of generic applications that quickly support a large percentage of the database as well as traditional applications built on the relational tables.
